List of Volunteer Activities Thank
you for reviewing this list of volunteer activities. Your contribution
of volunteer time, energy and skills are essential to the success of
our choir. Most volunteer activities listed below have a Coordinator.
Additional assistance is often needed so just because there is a name
already there doesn’t mean they do the whole job. Sign up where
you feel your talents and abilities are best used. If you have a skill
but don’t know where it fits, please add it to the commitment list that
is attached and hand it in to the Volunteer Coordinator.
As
becomes necessary during the course of the season, additional
opportunities for volunteering may be announced that are not indicated
here. For more information, please contact:
Sue Kohler, Volunteer Coordinator

collecting and organizing all materials relevant to the present and
past life of the GPC, and for coordinating the regular donation of

to bring in lots of dollars if we all purchase.

web design, internet communications (Facebook, blogs, twitter, etc),

Choir ambassadors The
ambassador is the “face” of the choir for sponsors, donors, artists and
special guests before and after concerts. This may involve

our regular Monday rehearsals, chairs must be set up (an exact and

there are absolutely no meetings involved! Chamber Choir members set up
chairs for all regular rehearsals.

leaders each week, keeping close track of attendance and reports to the
Artistic Director. The coordinator also organizes individual auditions
as needed.

of Choirs concerts (approximately nine concerts) not held at CITS will
require the assistance of ushers and greeters. Enjoy a variety of
concert experiences by the Children, Youth, and Chamber
choirs.
Box office help Volunteers
will be needed to help with activities related to the Box Office.
Timely and ongoing communication by volunteers with our database of
subscribers and single ticket purchasers will require the assistance of
those with good communication skills, an interest in marketing and
public relations, and a passion for promoting the GPC to the community
